The earliest memory I have of holding a camera comes from my grandma furiously snatching it out of my hand after trying to take a photo of her. She claimed that I wasn’t allowed to try and take a picture of her.

After her passing the following year I went through a whirlwind of personal development as I came out as both gay and a furry.

Living in central Wisconsin, I spent the majority of my life on the fringes of what living in a rural community means. Growing up with dial-up internet, waiting for message boards and videos to load, I found identities to cling to. Eventually I found my way back to the camera.

My work now, as a gay furry, is influenced by memory, identity, family, queer culture, the natural world, and my own personal journey as I reexamine my own identities.

Hello, Im Aaron to some Llyoid to others.
